Our Solution

To offer complete flexibility and the best possible price for building maintenance works, we provided a rolling contract at a set fee.

This bespoke solution included the provision of a four-man site team on-hand to carry out any planned and reactive maintenance services to landlord mechanical, electrical systems and building fabrication, 365 days a year.

The solution also included guidance and support in ensuring statutory maintenance regimes to plant, including gas-fired heating upkeep/installation, emergency lighting installation and water services.

If required, our site team had the support of specialist engineers and contractors to carry out any specific building maintenance and project works for both Touchwood and its retail tenants on request too.

The Result

Since our contract began in DATE, our on-site team and trusted suppliers have successfully completed several projects, including:

  • Replacement of all management centre air conditioning systems
  • Installation on electrical vehicle charging points
  • Refurbishment of staff toilet and shower areas
  • Installation of mechanical and electrical services for pop-up and permanent outlets
  • Asbestos surveys and any resulting work
  • Implementation of car park petrol interceptor pump-out regimes
  • Replacement of defective gas and electric water heaters
  • Installation of services to the central area for Yo Sushi

Our proactive team-driven specification and implementation of energy-saving initiatives, including the replacement of existing lighting with alternative fittings of LED, has helped Touchwood make an annual saving of £100k.
