Mid-Tech Services upgrades their Waste Carriers Certificate!

At Mid-Tech Services, we always strive for the highest of standards in all things heating, ventilation and air conditioning across various industries and sectors. We also put huge efforts into the behind the scenes business operations making sure we are environmentally and sustainably friendly where possible and cleaning up after ourselves onsite too.

With this being said, we are proud to announce that we have upgraded to the Upper Tier Waste Carrier Certificate from the lower tier we previously held under the Waste (England & Wales) Regulations 2011.

The Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011 require businesses to confirm that they have applied the waste management hierarchy when transferring waste and include a declaration to this effect on their waste transfer note or consignment note.

The regulations apply to businesses that:

  • Produce waste.
  • Import or export waste.
  • Carry or transport waste.
  • Keep or store waste.
  • Treat waste.
  • Dispose of waste.
  • Operate as waste brokers or dealers.
